Ben is a seasoned entertainment and software industries professional and proven leader. A graduate of UNC-Chapel Hill and Wake Forest University, he co-owned a small record label, worked as an artist manager and co-owned a Richmond, VA music venue. After working at Extensibility, which was acquired by TIBCO software, Ben began working at Etix in 2001 to develop new business and build a sales team for the fledgling ticketing company. He has taken Etix from around 20 clients to over 1,800 clients in over 40 countries and became President of Revenue Partnerships at Etix in December 2015.

Paxton joined Etix in 2015 as President. Prior to Etix, Paxton was a co-founder and Managing Director of a middle-market private equity investment firm and worked in The Carlyle Group’s US Buyout Fund on large-cap leveraged buyouts. In addition, he has held roles at Carolina Tractor & Equipment Company and McColl Partners. Paxton is a graduate of Duke University and Harvard Business School.
